What are the routes for Dubai Run?

There are two routes: 

  • 5km Route: Starts on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Museum of the Future and ends at Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, near Dubai Mall.
  • 10km Route: Starts on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Museum of the Future and ends at DIFC Gate Building near Emirates Towers. This route is more suitable for experienced runners.

Do I need to register for Dubai Run?

Yes, all participants need to register for Dubai Run. Although it's a free event, registration is required for safety and security reasons. You can register at DubaiRun.com starting from October 21, 2024.

Do I need to register my children for Dubai Run?

Yes. Children under 13 must be registered by an adult over 21 years old. Children aged 13 to 21 can register individually but will need parental consent.

How do I collect my bib and t-shirt?

Participants can collect their bibs and T-shirts starting from 11-23 November, 2024, at Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30 x 30 Fitness Village. Collection times will be shared via email to registered participants.

Can I participate without a bib?

No. Bibs are essential for safety reasons, and anyone without a bib will not be allowed to participate.

Can I change my route after registering?

Yes, but you will need to cancel your current registration and re-register for the other route. If you’ve already collected your bib, you must collect a new one from the designated collection point.

Can children participate in Dubai Run?

Yes, Dubai Run is a family-friendly event, and children of all ages can take part. All children must be supervised by an adult.

How do I get a Dubai Run t-shirt?

If you ordered a t-shirt when you registered for Dubai Run, you can collect it at the same time you collect your bib from Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30 x 30 Fitness Village. Please note that stock is limited so some sizes may not be available. T-shirts are first-come-first-served and not all participants are guaranteed to receive one.

Where can I park on the day of Dubai Run?

Parking is available near the start lines. Detailed route maps, including parking options, will be shared with registered runners closer to the event. However, we recommend using the Dubai Metro due to road closures.

Can I travel to the event by metro or taxi?

Yes. For the 5km route, use Dubai World Trade Centre Metro Stations. For the 10km route, use Emirates Towers Metro Stations. Taxis can also be used, and there will be designated drop-off and pick-up points near the start lines.

Do I need to register my children for Dubai Run?

Yes. Children under 13 must be registered by an adult over 21 years old. Children aged 13 to 21 can register individually but will need parental consent.

Can my child ride in a stroller?

Yes, but only on the 5km route. Strollers are not permitted on the 10km route.

What should I bring to Dubai Run?

Please bring: 

  • Your Dubai Run bib

What is the dress code for Dubai Run?

Wear comfortable sports clothes and appropriate running shoes. As the event starts early, it might be chilly initially, but it will warm up as the morning progresses.

Can I run with my family and friends?

Yes, but you should ensure that everyone is registered for the same route and start time. Plan to meet before arriving at the start line.

Can I bring my pets with me?

No, pets are not permitted for safety reasons.

What should I bring to Dubai Run?

Please bring: 

  • Your Dubai Run bib 
  • Your Dubai Run T-shirt 

Is Dubai Run safe for all participants?

Yes, extensive safety measures are in place, including medical and security teams on-site. Make sure to follow event staff directions and wear your bib for identification and safety.

Can I bring my pets with me?

No, pets are not permitted for safety reasons.
